Gurteen College

During the summer, we were delighted to receive an an order from Gurteen Agricultural College to supply Show Jumps. This comprised of 2 complete Sets: a Working Hunter Pony Jump Set, and a Show Jump Set. In all a total of 33 pairs of Wings and Stands with a variety of hanging and standing Fillers.

While these were based on our standard design and configuration, Gurteen College had some specific requirements with regard to colour and design, for example a co-ordinated set of 3 Jumps to make a Treble. The Show Jump Set is intended for competition use primarily, while the Working Hunter Set is enjoyed by the Pony Club.

Here are some examples which we thought may be interesting and perhaps give some ideas regarding design and colouring. Wings for the Treble. One pair has the College Crest painted on the panels, and the other two pairs have the words Gurteen College. All the components (Wings, Poles, Fillers) were painted in the College colours - Red, Yellow, and Green.

"After surfing the internet for Show Jumps for our college we came across a very informative website 'Green Isle Jumps' . After making an appointment to look at Green Isle's stock of jumps we were impressed with the craftsmanship and standard of work. With the help of Chris and Jasmine with the design and art work we decided on our set of Show Jumps and a full Working Hunter set. We were given a detailed schedule from working progress right through to delivery dates and were delighted with all the up dates. We not only found Green Isle to be friendly but extremely professional and timely with our finished sets of jumps and even more delighted when we received the finished product , the colour's were great and the full sets look fantastic when set out in a course especially our combination with our Gurteen College Crest on the wings ! Both sets will be used for college use but more importantly for when we hold our Eventing Ireland One Day Events and the international training clinic here again in July 2009 for Show Jumping Ireland. "
