In August this
year, we were delighted to be informed by the Roscommon County
Enterprise Board that we had again been selected as a finalist in this
year's County Enterprise Awards.
Roscommon County
Enterprise Board has provided us with support and resources to
help us establish our enterprise, and we are very grateful for
their assistance.
Although we did
not win, it is
still very encouraging to be recognised in this way as we have put in
a considerable amount of effort to try and make the enterprise
work well. 2009 has proved to be very challenging in
recessionary times, and we are very thankful to all those who
bought from us during a very difficult summer period.
However, there seems to be a bit of light on the horizon as
enquiries and orders have begun to pick up again, perhaps
encouraged by a spell of good weather (at last!)
Not only does
the Enterprise Board offer a variety of financial support
packages, they also provide business mentoring and advice, and
we can say that this was of very good quality and extremely
useful in helping us with our organisation, marketing, and
production.
We look forward to being able to
provide our Show Jumps to more and more in the coming months and
years. |
